Map Display

The map display shows directional guidelines.

Please note that the map display is not equivalent to a

GPS moving map as you may be familiar with from

car navigation equipment.

Any displayed directional guidelines only indicate the

direction to follow to go to the next waypoint. These

guidelines are independent of any roads, rivers,

mountains or other geographical items.

Press PG (3) to toggle between the different screens. You can also

press PG to open the desired mode for the map display.

The map display guidelines are reliable as soon as you start moving

a few meters. If you enable this display while stopped, the watch first

needs to determine your direction of movement in order to be able to

guide you. Simply move a few meters in any direction.
